The same things...

Time to do the same things like in Poland! Before beginning of school lets go to the cinema!!! Mission Impossible is good way to get some fun in this place, even that it's in English 😉
On lunch? Hamburgers from barbecue. American hamburgers are American hamburgers. Irreplaceable.
And on evening? Ruining level hard... Because of big hills. But it's still fun. 😊
Now going to watch movie in TV!

Differents everywhere

I wanna use this blog to show better differences between two ends of the world - Poland and USA
One of the most important difference is relationships and kindness.
I am here only 5 days but  I kept place to know people and their relation with friends, neighbors and strangers.
Here buying shouse you talk with seller like old friend, everybody ask how you feel, coming to shops or restaurants you don't say only "good morning" but "hi, how are you?". This is big difference which you can feel. How?
I told my host mum about this and she said " yes, its very good for people because when everybody smile to you then you want smile to everybody. " It helps you to be happy and I see it now. I feel smile on my face really more often than in Poland. There my friends and family make my happy. Here even strangers want to do it. I would like to come back to Poland and doing the same things don't be called crazy...

Say goodbye to say hello

Every first times are the worst. And even that everybody tell you that it's easy, don't forget about it and repeat: It will be only better. I started my adventure with long flight. It was my first time so I was really stressed. For someone who has never seen any airport it wasn't easy to change plane in Frankfurt - believe me. But I did it with my family who supported my being in Poland.
America didn't welcome me good. They lost my suitcase somewhere  in Frankfurt. Later I might waiting on airport because I didn't know where I should go. "it will be only better"...
Everybody say that the most important is first impression.
On airport I met Maggie who showed, that stranger can give you helpful hand when you need it. After I met Karen - my host mum who wanted to take my to her house and take care of me. I met also Jackie and Dayle - people who give my their positive energy. And I met Katy - who is always ready to help my when I need it. Amazing people with a lot of positive energy.
I said on airport that it will be better? It is. That day showed my that even problems and new, stressful things, I can do it because I am not alone, wherever I am

Who? Where? And why?

My name is Kasia. I live in Jerzykowo - small village in Poland. I am sixteen years old and now, I experience adventure of my life on second end of the world. Where exactly it is?'In Washington state - beautiful part of the USA. I'm living in incredible town Yakima with my host mum Karen. How title of the blog say, I am exchange student - this it's my adventure. Why? - Why not? Beginning was simple and easy - just dream.

Hard beginning

It's hard to say how I was feeling when I left my home. I was really excited but I was really scared. In that moment good way is to not thinking too much. Unfortunately this kind of trip we take to heart long time before. I was fighting with great number of questions, countless number of uncertainties and with simple sentence which all of my friends and family told my all the time I was sacred: "you can do it".
